Many out there are on some kind of spiritual path. However, fewer are consistently orientating that path towards development of self-awareness and actualization of soul. Still fewer are walking the path of soul. Do you have what it takes?
To truly walk the path of soul is to make decisions not from what might feel nice, but based on what you may learn. It forms from a naturally occurring inquiry, which isn’t mind based as such:
What would it be like to go without food for some time?
How is it to experience codependency in relationships?
What does freedom to travel without a fixed home-base feel like?
Can I maintain soul sovereignty while being a full time carer for a parent or child?
What is the most aligned expression of my gifts?

These inquiries are bound to unleash karma – that build-up of identity which blocks the flow of soul. These are all the areas in life where you need a situation to go a certain way in order to feel whole. All the areas where you forget that you can only find completion within. It will bring up fear and anxiety, anger and grief, until you start touching the source pain. Here are some example of source pain:
The challenge of being in the density of the physical
Being abandoned, rejected, betrayed (by the divine)
Feeling loss of home
The pain of watching your creation crumble before you
Losing connection with loved ones (through separation, death etc) - really you lose connection with an aspect of yourself called the twin flame.

Walking the path of soul is challenging. It will bring you to your knees, weeping and wailing. However, that’s exactly how to you come to realise that you are so much more than your experience. So, you progressively move beyond the identity, the karma. Until you unleash all your soul gifts. Life becomes magical and profoundly meaningful, a dance of energy, flowing with the torus of life. How could you ever go back to how it was before?
What is your inquiry about? Follow that
So, what is your soul truly yearning for? Beyond any physical, emotional or mental need. It is yearning to be unleashed in all of its glory!
How can you know what your current soulful inquiry is? It’s about feeling into what expression is naturally coming forth to be explored. Perhaps it’s determination, curiosity, creative flow, freedom, sovereignty, non-judgmental discernment, playfulness, adventure, cohesive clarity, empathic sensitivity.
Likely a combination of these. Ask yourself, where do I feel inhibited/restricted right now? Not by what’s happening in my environment, but by how I’m being. For to walk the path of soul is to always take responsibility for what we create – yes, many know this, yet few consistently live it.
My personal inspiration
Right now I take my inspiration from Shiva – or rather the aspect of the universe that I know is within me, that I resonate with. That is, the aspect of Shiva that can sit in any situation and doesn’t need to change it. That needs nothing from it.

Hungry? Well then be hungry. Exhausted? Well then be exhausted. Cold? Shiver, my friend.
It’s about the ability to be in and express any experience without letting it own you.
You are the singularity
Beyond all, ever-changing experience there is one constant. The witness – that which is pure presence. This is you.
Anchoring yourself in this on a daily basis through meditation, body work, time in nature, etc, will change your life in unimaginable ways. (By the way, the time was exactly 11:11 as I wrote that last sentence).
Are you ready?
So, do you have what it takes? Being on the path of soul requires commitment, courage and sacrifice. It’s not for everyone, and that’s ok. But, if you’ve decided it’s for you then my hat goes off to you. We are connected through that.
