Dissolving Identity - What it means

When I refer to identity, I'm talking about when you create a fixed relationship with reality - "In this situation, I'm like this". "I'm a parent/friend/artist/therapist". "I'm good at this and not very good at that". When you do this, you subtly limit the free flow of soul and therefore become less than your true spiritual potential. To overcome identity and emerge into the limitless quantum being that you are, takes a dedicated challenging of any fixed patterns of thought and behaviour in your life. Anything that keeps you in rigidity or keeps you small.

In contrast, the soul is a free-flowing unique expression with it's own characteristics and harmonic. It is certainly individual to you, but instead of locking down certain roles or views of who you are, we can seek to enhance resonant ways of being, like a tuning fork resonating a particular frequency.

In the video bellow I've sought explain why identity is a problem on the spiritual path and what various layers there are to get through. Beware, the spiritual identity! It's the most dangerous of all and hooks many people who are seeking spiritual evolution.
